Why not visit the C-mine expedition while you’re there? It’s a unique and interactive experience going through the underground passages of the Winterslag mine buildings. At the end of the expedition, you’ll stand at the top of the 60m mine shaft with a spectacular view over the region.

Here, you are connected to an electrically driven cable, where you can be pulled over the water along with other people. Cable water skiing is similar to snow skiing in the way that you glide over the surface. Wakeboarding is very popular with younger people because of all the tricks and stunts they can do thanks to the obstacles in the water. Additionally, Terhills Cablepark has three cables which are suitable for beginners.

Houthalen Golf Course
The LGCC course borders the "Tenhaagdoornheide" nature reserve with extremely varied holes meandering through the heathland and woodland. The finishing and maintenance of the track is at a very high level the whole year round, so a visit is a must both during the flowering season of the heath (from late July to mid-September) as well as during the other months of the year.
